There will be many different activities for the childern to enjoy such as a costume contest, cookies and punch, trick or treating, scary stories, fall crafts and much, much more.

Suicide Prevention Training

Back by popular demand, students and staff are invited to attend the FREE suicide prevention training. After attending the session on Tuesday August 24th at 6pm in room 309 you will receive a certificate that you can even list on your resume. We had 65 people attend the first session, so please reserve your seat early by emailing events@swfc.edu today!

What does QPR stand for? Question, Persuade, Refer! These are the important steps to help save a life.

Admissions - here to greet you and get you enrolled in your first semester of classes!

The Academic Success Center (ASC) - professors spend time in the tutoring lab outside the classroom to help students with their studies. This is a FREE service to all students!

Hanging out side the entrance to the registrars office. You visit them to adjust your schedule term to term and verify your course sequencing to make sure you graduate on time!

Inside the Learing Resource Center (LRC) - it is our library where many students study or visit each other between classes.

Fireworks & Miracle Baseball Ticket Sales

Students, staff and their guests are invited to sing, "Take Me Out to the Ballgame!" on Saturday August 28th for the 7pm game. We will have tickets on sale in the Fort Myers Bookstore starting Monday August 2nd for $8.50.

The game will be held at Hammond Stadium in Fort Myers. We have a block of tickets in section 113 behind the home team dugout along the 3rd baseline. Click http://www.miraclebaseball.com/ for more information about the stadium.

Rummage Sale

The SWFC Fort Myers Campus is hosting a community wide rummage sale rain or shine on Saturday, July 24th starting at 7am.

If you have items that you want to sell, reserve a spot by contacting Ms. Levine or Ms. Cohen by calling 239.939.4766 between the hours of 8am and 10pm Monday through Friday, or Saturday 8am - 5pm or via email to events@swfc.edu. A pre-rummage meeting with one of the coordinators above and a $20 donation confirms your reservation.

Donations will be used to fund the IT Club members certification exam fees and to purchase school supplies for the annual Allied Health Club School Supply Drive for local children.

Your spot is under our building out of the sun and is the size of a parking lot space; you receive a table and two chairs, community wide advertising, and you can sell approved items (to be discussed in your pre-rummage meeting).

This event is open to the public to sell or shop so mark your calendars!

How to build healthy relationships seminar

The SWFC Fort Myers Student Services Department is hosting the Abuse Counseling and Treatment center to present a FREE training seminar, "Relationships without Destructive Behaviors."

There is no cost to attend this seminar, you just need to RSVP to events@swfc.edu or visit Student Services in room 301 to reserve your spot prior to the event.
